The March of Remembrance marked the 80th anniversary of the liquidation of the ghetto in Krakow's Podgorze, where 17,000 Jews were confined during World War II. The march followed the path taken by Jews forced to leave the ghetto for forced labor and death at the former KL Plaszow concentration camp, where two thousand were brutally killed in March 1943. Through this event, organisers honor their memories and emphasize the importance of respect, tolerance, and compassion for all individuals.
