A rare blood moon appears rising in the night sky during the eclipse over and behind residential buildings, near the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands on September 7, 2025. The eclipse happens as planet earth is aligned between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow on the moon and giving the reddish color.
