A nun in her 70's was gang raped while trying to prevent robbers from ransacking and stealing at a school at Ranaghat, 70 kilometres (45 miles) from Kolkata, and stole cash and other items. Priests, school girls,nun's and many other people from the Christian community and other communities staged a rally and candle light vigil to express their sorrow and solidarity towards the elderly victim in Kolkata, India, on March 16, 2015.
