Buckingham Palace stands under grey skies in London, England, on March 11, 2021. Senior members of the Royal Family reportedly held 'crisis talks' this week following claims of racism made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, in their televised interview with Oprah Winfrey. This week meanwhile marked the first stage of coronavirus lockdown easing across England, with schools reopening and some limits on social contact loosened. Non-essential shops, bars, restaurants and other hospitality and leisure businesses remain closed, however, and will not reopen until next month under the current timetable.

Members of the Sri Lankan Tamil community protest against Indian politician Dr. Subramanian Swamy's visit to Canada on November 03, 2018 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Swamy has been a vocal critic of the LTTE and is vociferously anti-Tamil Nadu and Tamil diaspora. Subramanian Swamy, in one of his televised interviews while in Colombo, told a local channel that the UN investigation into genocide that took place during the Sri Lankan civil war would be of no more consequence to Sri Lanka than a swarm of pesky mosquitoes. 'Simply swat them away,' he advised the Government.
