Devotees offers butter lamps in Hanumante River side during the last day of Shree Swasthani Brata Katha, a month long festival that is dedicated to Goddess Swasthani and God Madhav Narayan .During the month-long story telling ritual the stories of Goddess Swasthani, God Shiva and other gods are narrated while the devotees recite holy scripture and pray for wellbeing of their spouses. The rituals associated with the Swasthani Katha take place on the bank of rivers in various Hindu shrines across the country.
