Due to restrictions due to covid-19 concerts are limited in number and participants are checked by the authorities before participating in World Music Day on June 21, 2020 in L'Aquila, Italy. Established in 1982 by the French Ministry of Culture to celebrate the diversity of musical genres in popular culture, the Fete de la Musique is now celebrated throughout France and in over 120 countries around the world. This year, due to the Covid-19 crisis, most of the big concerts have been cancelled, but the event is still embraced on a small scale in bars, cafes and street corners in all European cities.
