People dressed in horned Krampus costumes participate in the eight annual Parade of Spirits Krampus Parade through the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA on December 15, 2018. Krampus hails from European traditions like the controversial Zwarte Piet (Black Pete) from the Netherlands and similar characters who in folklore of various European cultures go after misbehaved children.
