Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius for the first time conducts the Christmas liturgy in the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine recommended that the National Reserve ''Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra'' not to renew the agreement with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate for the lease of the Dormition Cathedral and the Refectory Church in the Upper Lavra, the term of which expired on 1 January, 2023, according to local media.
