Current government took over power in Poland on December 13 2023 from the Law and Justice far-right political party, which has ruled for 8 years. Law and Justice marginalized LGBRQ+ peoples. The Minister says it is important to take LGBTQ+ young people under more systematic care because, as research shows, the group has more tendency to be discriminated that leads to depressions and suicides.
