Five dogs are graduating and retiring after completing their training and service as guide dogs for individuals with visual disabilities (blind or low vision). Silvia Lozada Badillo, the director and founder of the Guide Dog Training School for the Blind I.A.P., who became visually disabled at the age of 3 due to a viral illness, is leading the event. After years, she sought support and traveled to the United States to join the Leader Dogs for the Blind school, where she received her first guide dog, a German shepherd. She has been using guide dogs for 40 years.
