NYPD officers work the scene where a 59-year-old man identified as Gerry Hill is killed after sustaining head trauma inside 193 Knickerbocker Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on September 15, 2025. A 59-year-old male is discovered unconscious and unresponsive with head trauma within the confines of the 83 Precinct. EMS responds and transports the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he is pronounced dead. Two people are taken into custody, and the investigation remains ongoing. Crime scene tape cordons off the area of Jefferson Street, which is also near the original crime scene on Knickerbocker Avenue.
