December 1st, The Hague. From Tuesday 1 December, Milieudefensie (Friends of the Earth Netherlands) will face Shell in court. The plaintiffs want Shell to take a more sustainable course. The full legal costs of €500,000 are covered by donations. The Red Rebels from Extinction Rebellion, and a group of climate activists that have been cycling from the North of the country in stages to draw attention to the climate case, delivered in front of the courts the donation check to the lawyer Roger Cox and his team.
