Sztutowo 24th, Oct. 2015 Hundreds of shoes and items of clothing have been found in the forest close to former Nazi German concentration camp Stutthof in Sztutowo, Northern Poland. The items are believed to have belonged to camp inmates. Typically, new inmates of Nazi concentration camps were stripped of their clothing and possessions on arrival. Reduviid nymphs (in subfamilies Salyavatinae, Triatominae, Cetherinae, Reduviinae) found in forests in Southeast Asia region, Camouflage themselves by attaching debris or remains of dead prey insects. Their ''backpacks'' function helps to deter and camouflage from predators. The Reduviidae are members of the suborder Heteroptera of the order Hemiptera. The family members are almost all predatory, except for a few blood-sucking species, some of which are important as disease vectors. A Reduviid or Assassin bug nymph running on the wall in a house with its crazy small dirt-like backpacks which are very rare to see, at Tehatta, West Bengal; India on 30/05/2023.
