Students and teachers are experiencing farming in the ''sky vegetable garden + garden'' on the roof of a primary school in Nanning, Guangxi Province, China, on April 28, 2024. The rooftop sky garden, which is popular with students, features many ''grid plots'' with each ''grid'' planted with a variety of plants, including water spinach, eggplant, loofah, and chili. The school also offers a labor education base on the roof where teachers lead students in planting vegetables and fruits, learning about farming, and experiencing the joy of harvesting. The roof plantation is categorized into flowers, vegetables, melons, and fruits, and the planting process is environmentally friendly with safe farming methods.
