Riot police charge and clash violently with peaceful protesters and unionists using tear gas and pepper spray. The Israeli onslaught in Gaza is deemed 'genocide' by the CPI and several NGOs such as Amnesty International, HRW, and PHR. Israel crosses all the red lines of humanitarian laws and even laws of war. No meaningful humanitarian assistance is delivered to Gaza since March 2, and a UN-related global hunger monitor warns that more than a million people face starvation in Gaza. Now more than 500 Palestinians die of human-made starvation. Since October 7, 2023, nearly 67,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza by the Israeli army.
