Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that at approximately 4:36 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department are dispatched to the area of East 36th Street and 20th Avenue following a report of a shooting. Police locate a 34-year-old man from Paterson, N.J., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is transported to St. Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment for non-fatal injuries.
