Ukrainian internally displaced transgender people, who have left their homes due the Russia's invasion of Ukraine, do household chores as they live in a shelter in Odesa, Ukraine 7 June, 2022. A special shelter for transgender and non-binary people who left homes due of the Russian invasion opened in Odesa. This is a specialized shelter that allows people with different gender identities to temporary stay of 5-7 people. They can live in the shelter for up to two or three months, depending on the circumstances, which will allow them to adapt to new realities. The first residents of the shelter were internally displaced transgender people from Donetsk and Mykolayiv regions of Ukraine - two transgender women and a non-binary personality. As part of the support, they can also receive humanitarian aid.
