Officer Huesca was shot and fatally wounded in Gage Park while returning home from his tour of duty with the Area 2 Priority Response Team. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the suspect, 22-year-old Xavier L. Tate Jr., who is wanted in connection with the slaying of Officer Huesca.
