Katya Echazarreta, the first Mexican woman who traveled to space in June 2022 on the Blue Origin NS-21 mission aboard NASA's New Shepard spacecraft, is speaking at a press conference at the Openminder restaurant in Mexico City. She is announcing that the 10th FHC Liberty Bell, a replica of the Mexican Independence Bell, will be named after her and is set to be placed as a monument in Wasilla, Alaska, USA, in July 2024.
