BERSIH 2.0 chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah has been released from detention under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma).Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar when contacted confirmed that Maria was freed at 4.50pm from Bukit Aman.Chin was detained under Sosma on Nov 18, on the eve of the Bersih 5 rally.
