The momotxorro is a character of unknown origin Alsasua Carnival: is half man and half bull.The practice disappeared in the 1930s, and recovered in 1990, although this did not please the elderly locals, as the memory of those characters was linked to stories of looting, theft and even sexual assault.It is one of the characters of the Basque carnival with violent and sexually charged: through the streets with his sarde (hanging) terrorizing and "attacking" who are in its path, and into people's houses to "plunder" inside . They have horns and face are covered with scarves or horsehair. They wear a white shirt stained with blood, and sheepskins. Wearing blue pants, white socks and sandals. Up noise bells sewn sheepskin or hung around the waist.
