Ambassador Ishikane Kimihiro delineated the involvement of Japan and the United Nations in order to resolve tensions in China, North Korea, and the region around Iran. However, ambassador declined to specify the councils position on the Russian aggression towards Ukraine and tribunals regarding genocide in that country.
