EDMONTON, CANADA - SEPTEMBER 10, 2023: Edmontonians unite at the eighth annual Bridge Of Life Suicide Awareness and Prevention candlelight vigil and walk, hosted by YEG Mental Health, a passionate group committed to increasing awareness of mental health issues in the greater Edmonton area, on September 10, 2023, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Suicide affects people of all ages and backgrounds in Canada, with approximately 4,500 deaths annually, equivalent to 12 per day. For each person lost to suicide, many experience thoughts or attempts. Over 200 people in Canada attempt suicide daily, and 7 to 10 survivors are profoundly affected by each suicide.

Traditional tobacco traders are selling traditionally produced tobacco at a traditional market in Tangerang, Indonesia, on June 13, 2023. The government has announced that it will use tobacco tax revenues to reduce the widening deficit recorded by public health insurance (BPJS) from year to year. Meanwhile, The National Committee for Tobacco Control has said that the government regulation using revenue from tobacco tax to help plug up the deficit in public health insurance (BPJS) is against the law.
