Head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Metropolitan Epifaniy and Ukrainian believers attend a Christmas service in the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery in Kyiv, Ukraine 7 January 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanius for the first time conducts the Christmas liturgy in the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine recommended that the National Reserve ''Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra'' not to renew the agreement with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate for the lease of the Dormition Cathedral and the Refectory Church in the Upper Lavra, the term of which expired on 1 January, 2023, according to local media. According to Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko, the commission for the acceptance and transfer of the Dormition Cathedral and the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the state completed its work on January 5, as local media reported.

A photo album compiled by the author himself, a specific device with which Wienerberger managed to secretly take photos and the brochures - Russland wie es wirklich ist (Russia as it really is, 1934) and Um eine Fuhre Salz im GPU-Keller (Cargo of salt in the basement of the GPU, 1942) - accompanied by Alexander Wienerbergers memoirs about life in the USSR are also on display.
