A departures board at Ronald Reagan National Airport shows numerous flights cancelled after American Flight 5342 collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and crashed into the Potomac River, in Arlington, VA, on January 30, 2025. The crash killed 67 people: 64 on Flight 5342 and 3 in the Army helicopter, making the deadliest commercial air accident in the U.S. in more than 20 years.
