An old man is spinning by indigenous method inside a handloom factory on December 21, 2014 in Pabna, Bangladesh. Bangladesh has a glorious long tradition of her handloom products. Bangladesh Handloom Board works with about one and a half million weavers of the country to develop handloom industries, the products of which can meet about 63% of country's demand for cloth. Bangladeshi handloom workers largely contributes in the economy but their rights are hardly being looked after by the Bangladesh Handloom Board. If this continues than in near future Bangladeshi Handloom Industries may also loose it's glory like jute.
