Members of the National Public Officials Union's Fire Department hold a press conference in front of the Government Complex Seoul in Jongno District, calling for measures to address the issue of ambulance ''ping-pong'' in Seoul, South Korea, on August 23, 2024. During the press conference, the Fire Department of the National Public Officials Union strongly condemns the government for failing to take action and allowing emergency patients to die without proper measures in place. Speaking on behalf of 119 paramedics responsible for emergency medical services, the union points out that delays in hospital selection and patient transfers, along with hospitals refusing to admit patients, put the lives of emergency patients in grave danger. They highlight that in July alone, two individuals die in 119 ambulances after hospitals cannot be found to accept them.

HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) Eurocopter EC 135 P2+ type helicopter sits on a field in front of catholic church in Gdansk, Poland on 13 February 2019 Rescuers intervened after the accident on the construction site in Gdansk Karczemki district. Polish HEMS created in 2000 consists of 21 regional HEMS bases with 3 minutes operational readiness. Helicopter teams finish over 8000 missions per year.
