Driving schools managers hold black flags Place d'Italie, in Paris, on February 11, 2019, as they protest against a parliamentary report which could favour online driving school platforms. The traditional driving schools condemn provisions that would unduly strengthen the platform for learning to drive on the Internet including the proposal to replace the national approval of the licensing department. Since Emmanuel Macron has promised to lower the price of a driving license, car schools say that they decrease enrollment between 40% and 60%: students prefer to wait, but at this rate, some will disappear before new measures are implemented.
