Inside the Rose Main Reading Room, the main reading room with side books and large windows, officially Room 315 on the third floor, a room 78 x 297 feet and 52 foot high wooden carved ceiling in a style between Renaissance architectural style and Beaux-Arts design in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, commonly known as the Main Branch. New York Public Library Main Branch in Bryant Park, Manhattan, NYPL, is the third largest library in the world. The branch was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1965 and designated a New York City Landmark in 1967. The research library was opened to public on May 23, 1911, built by the architect Carrere and Hastings on the Fifth Avenue, nowaday is a landmark, a monument for locals and attraction to tourists with thousands of daily visitors, as it become famous after appearing in movies and tv shows.
