He is known to as the former manager of the New York Yankees, who won four World Series during his tenure. Torre is the only player-manager to achieve 2,000 hits as a player and 2,000 wins as a manager, while adding an MVP award and nine All-Star appearances. For his many achievements, he was elected to the MLB Hall of Fame in 2014.
