Locally stranded individuals (LSIs) take shelter in temporary tents at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) 3 following the cancellation of some domestic flights in Pasay, Philippines on July 9, 2020. LSIs comprise of foreign or Filipino nationals mostly students, workers or tourists in the Philippines who have expressed desire to return to their place of origin. The government has facilitated the return of LSIs to their place of residences which resulted to the spike of COVID-19 cases in some regions.
