People gather on Ketagalan Boulevard in Taipei on December 3, 2016 to protest against a bill to introduce equal marriage. Members of the ruling partie, Taiwan’s President, Tsai Ing-wen and a majority of the public have voiced their support for the legalization of same-sex marriage but not every Taiwanese is happy about that. Taiwan is very traditional and has a big Christian Community that is against same-sex marriage and want to avoid that the senator vote this law. They claim to ant an referendum in order to let the taiwanese people vote hoping so, that the majority will vote against same-sex marriage.
