Farmers protesting against corporate agriculture as well as the pending TTIP free trade agreement between the European Union and the United States gather at Potsdamer Platz on January 16, 2016 in Berlin, Germany. Germany has a long tradition of family farms though many see this as under threat from large-scale agro-business. The farmers claim industrial techniques produce an inferior product at dumping prices.
