Protesters on September 19th, 2020 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. During the whole month, the climate activist group Extinction Rebellion in The Netherlands has planned a new campaign, with the name 'September Rebellion' to draw attention to the climate and ecological crisis. At the Museumplein, in Amsterdam, hundreds of XR activists danced to demand action against climate change in what protesters dubbed ''civil disco-bedience''. Activists waved flags and danced to songs including the Bee Gees' 1977 hit, Stayin' Alive. After the Museumplein the activists blocked for a few minutes one of the most important bridges in Amsterdam, the Blauwbrug and they ended the action in front of the Amsterdam city council.
