A young woman holds a cardboard reading 'Working less to less pollute'. More than 50.000 people took to the streets in toulouse against the planned reform of pension and retirement age. France's labour unions have made a rare joint call for a day of major strike action and protests across France against plans by President Emmanuel Macron's government to reform the pension system and raise the retirement age to 64 from 62, a move opinion polls show is opposed by a vast majority (93%) of workers already facing a cost-of-living crisis. Nearly all sectors unions called for this strike and protest : mining and energy, health, schooling sector, transportation, trucks drivers, refining workers, bank workers, etc. The retirement age would be raise to 64 years (for 43 years of continued work) and the pensions will be lower specially for women, 'short careers' and low wages people. The COR (Counsel of Pension Guidance), which depends of the Prime minister Office directly, said on September 2022 in its latest report that it sees no needs to reform the pension system as it shares in the French GDP will remain steady at least 2070. Toulouse. France. January 19th 2023.

An elderly man does physical activity with his bike in the red zone near the sea in Molfetta on April 2, 2021. According to the results of the survey conducted by the sports search engine - which includes over 22,500 sports associations and sport-clubs in more than 1,500 Italian municipalities and a community of over 4 million users - during the Covid period, 66% of Italians did physical activity: of these, 34% practiced outdoor activities when possible, 19% alternated outdoor and home activities, another 18% practiced at home with video lessons, 17% in home alone, 7% at home both alone and with video lessons. Important data that, underlined by Orangogo, tell how the need for movement and psycho-physical well-being related to sporting activity emerges, whatever it may be. And another fact emerges: Italians like online lessons, but they are not entirely satisfying. Meanwhile, the gyms and swimming pools have been closed for 4 months now. Four very long months, an eternity for those who have to pay rents, salaries, bills. At the end of October, stopping gyms, fitness centers and swimming pools after the increase in infections in Italy seemed the right solution to stem the second wave. A temporary stop, which no one imagined so long with the risk that they will never reopen.
