Osorno, Chile. 30 November, 2018. Héctor Llaitul Carrillanca. The leader and spokesperson of the Coordinator Arauco Malleco (CAM), Héctor Llaitul Carrillanca with Lonko williche Erwin Aguas Deumacán, spoke with members of different Mapuche-Williche communities. The main theme of the talk was the Decolonization of Chawrakawin, as well as the issues of Autonomy and Self-Determination of the Mapuche people-nation. Héctor Llaitul also referred to the trial for the murder of Carabineros by the young Mapuche Camilo Catrillanca, noting that to this day, the State is executing a persecution at the highest level against the Mapuche leaders. Also participating was Fernando Jones Huala, brother and spokesman of Lonko Facundo Jones Huala, who brought the greeting from Puelmapu (Mapuche territory of Argentina) who insisted on the innocence of his brother whose trial begins on December 4 in Osorno, Chile.
