Firefighters try to cut the chain used by an activists to block the entrance doors of a Zara' shop. The sheet reads 'In China, 70% of water is polluted'. Members and activists from the NGO XR (extinction rebellion) and Youths for Climate organized a nationwide day of protest against fast fashion. They blocked the entrance doors of a Zara shop chaining themselves in front of the shop. they were dislodged by police after two hours. They want to raise awareness about the carbon footprint and ecological footprint of fast fashion. Similar actions took place elsewhere in France. On October 17th, 2020 in Toulouse, France.
