Members of the office of the medical examiner remove the body of an 11-year-old boy who is shot in the head and killed, prompting a large police presence from the ATF, FBI, and City of Newburgh Police Department to the area of 184 North Miller Street and the surrounding areas in Newburgh, New York, United States, on October 9, 2025. On Thursday morning, the shooting transpires, causing a large police presence in the area. Investigators process the scene inside and outside of the home for several hours in the morning, afternoon, and into the evening. Upstairs inside the home, investigators with protective gear comb the scene. Candles are placed at the site of the fatal shooting, which shocks the community.
