March 4th, Dusseldorf. In Düsseldorf, the calendar of Carnival events features no fewer than 300 Carnival shows, balls, anniversaries, receptions and costume parties. The motto this season is ‘Gemeinsam Jeck’ (Together Carnival). The celebrations culminate in the Rose Monday Parade. More than 30 music ensembles and 5,000 participants join the procession through the city.

The product are made entirely from apples grown across the capital and are hand-crafted by local volunteer orchardists at The Orchard Project in Walthamstow, East London.
