A group of Palestinian children and patients are awaiting in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, on July 28, 2024, for their medical evacuation to the United Arab Emirates. This is marking the first evacuation through the Israeli Ramon Airport, although it is not the first since the Israeli army ceased operations at the Rafah crossing last May; some patients are previously being evacuated via Kerem Shalom.
