The ''Pietre d'Inciampo'', commemorative brass plaques that remember the victims of National Socialism (in German Stolpersteine) is a creation of the German artist Gunter Demnig.The idea is to create a widespread memory of the citizens deported to the Nazi extermination camps. Every year in Turin on the occasion of the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust 2021, a series of them is placed on the pavement in front of their last address of choice.
