On September 22, 2018 a regional anti-fascist event brought together 500 activists from all over western France (mainly Nantes) and some Parisians who came to oppose the far-right and the normalization of his speech. The procession tried to go to the Alvarium neo-fascist association located in Angers, France, since 2017 but had to give up, the local being protected by the police.A dozen bank agencies were targeted by black blocks. 6 arrests took place.
