Сonstruction waste is seen close to the archeological excavation site. During the construction of the underground shopping mall and a road interchange at the Postal Square in downtown Kyiv, the fragments of the XVII street and buildings were found. Archaeologists are carrying out the rescue preventive excavations. Scientists hope to find more historical evidences on the site.
