Amnesty International, Win Without War, MoveOn, and Oxfam hold a candlelight vigil at the White House to demand a ceasefire in Israel and Palestine, return of all hostages, and aid access in Gaza. The event was one of many protests on a global day of action to demand an end to Israel’s bombing of civilians in Gaza in retaliation for the Hamas attacks that killed 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. To date, Israeli air strikes have killed nearly more than 19,000 Palestinians.
