The riset vesel Baruna Jaya conduct searching activities on the 3rd day SAR operation of crashed Lion Air aircraft at Karawang Bay, on October 31, 2018. The Commander of Indonesian Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and Head of the National SAR Agency, Vice Marshal Syaugi, on the press converence stated that the research vessel Baruna Jaya managed to find debris and detect a ping locator which allegedly belonging to Lion Air JT-610 aircraft which fell in the Karawang bay on October 29, minutes after take off from Jakarta.

A rescue ship is seen near the location of the Lion Air flight JT610 crash during rescue operations off the north coast of Karawang regency, West Java province, Indonesia, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Rescuers have recovered human remains and personal items in the wreckage, with all 189 passengers and crew feared dead. Lion Air Flight JT 610, traveling from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang crashed in the Java sea Monday morning, shortly after takeoff.

A village in Jagatballavpur area of West Bengal’s Howrah district and another one in remote Sagar islands of Sunderbans archipelago have been waiting since Sunday for the mortal remains of two of the 17 martyred in the Uri attack in Kashmir. The bodies will be kept at the Army Command hospital morgue in Kolkata during the night and the very next morning they will be taken to Howrah and Sagar respectively, where their final rights will be performed with State honours. The flight will arrive in Kolkata after offloading the bodies of two jawans at Ranchi — Sepoy Jarva Munda from District Khuti in Jharkhand and Niaman Kujur from Chainpur in Jharkhand — also killed at Uri on Sunday.
