The balance of RMB deposits was 274.91 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.6%, 0.8 percentage points lower than the end of last month, and 1.1 percentage points higher than the same period of last year. Yuan deposits rose 1.46 trillion yuan in May, down 1.58 trillion yuan from a year earlier.
