At sunrise, on Sep 9th 2016 the SOS Méditerranée Deputy Search And Rescue Coordinator scan the horizon with a binocular in search for migrants boats in distress. Reportage from the rescue vessel Aquarius, operated by the NGOs SOS Méditerranée and Médicins Sans Frontières (MSF), which conducts migrants search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean sea. Since the beginning of its mission, in February 2016, to October of the same year, the Aquarius team rescued more than 6,000 people.
