Masked Kashmiri Muslim protesters shout anti Indian slogans during an anti India protest, on February 17, 2017 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian controlled Kashmir, India. Violent clashes erupted between Indian government forces and pro Kashmir freedom protesters after Friday prayers , over the recent civilian killings and over the warning issued by Indian army chief of tough action against locals hampering counter militancy operations. Indian forces used teargas shells to disperse protesters.

Thousands Defied A curfew in srinagar as they carried the body for the Final rites.Largest protests against Indian rule in recent years have triggered by the killing of a popular rebel commander on July 8. Since then, tens of thousands of people have defied the curfew, staged protests and clashed with government forces,72 people have been killed by Government forces in the protests.
