As a COVID-19 infected man, I have sit behind medicines that I have to use to recover from the new coronavirus disease in two weeks, during two-week quarantine for recovering from the COVID-19, at a room of an apartment in downtown Tehran, on April 23, 2021. I am Morteza Nikoubazl, an Iranian freelance photojournalist, and this place is my parent's room in their home that I use as a place for two weeks quarantine. I have worked on the COVID-19 story and its outbreak in Iran since February 2020 and I was finally infected by the new coronavirus disease after about fourteen months of photography of infected people and dead bodies in hospitals, cities, and cemeteries. Now it is the time to tell my story in quarantine. All the photos in this series are staged and I took the photo with a mobile phone that I had remotely photographed with a Fuji film camera. but these images are real and these are my daily life during a two-week quarantine to recover from the COVID-19.
