On Saturday evening at approximately 8:01 PM, police respond to a 911 call of a knifepoint robbery at 256-17 Hillside Avenue within the confines of the 105 precinct, Queens, New York. Upon arrival, officers pursue the suspect on an e-bike, and during the pursuit, the suspect is struck by a Lexus GX460 at the intersection of Lakeville Road and Bryant Avenue in the confines of Nassau County. EMS responds and pronounces the suspect dead at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing by the Nassau County Crime Scene Unit and NYPD Force Investigation Division. The identification of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification.
